Creating and Managing your NRL.com Account

Modified on Wed, 3 Jun at 9:21 AM

Your NRL Account is the single login used across platforms including MySideline, Play Rugby League, Online Learning Centre, NRL.com, Fantasy and Tipping.

Please see steps below for creating and managing your NRL.com Account.

Creating your NRL Account

IMPORTANT: Ensure you create the NRL Account under the name of the email owner.  You will be given the opportunity to create/link a Member Profile for a participant after you log in to your account.

Step 1 - Click on the relevant link below then follow the remaining steps for creating your account.

Note - If logging in for participant registration or enrolment in a course for the first time, you will need to add new, or link existing, participants to your account to complete the registration/enrolment.

I am trying to:

  • Register a participant (e.g. Player, Volunteer, Referee, etc.) at PlayRugbyLeague.com.
  • Access MySideline Admin so I can be granted User Management Permission to my Club (or other level of administrative access).  Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required for Admin access.
  • Access MySideline Manager so I can be granted User Management Permission for Team, Club, or GameDay Admin access.  Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required for Manager access.
  • Enrol in a course at the NRL Learning Centre.
  • Follow the NRL and related news at NRL.com.

Step 2 - When you are on the sign in screen, select the 'Sign Up' option at the bottom.

Step 3 - Enter your email address and click Continue.  You will be sent a code from noreply@nrl.com to the entered email address.  Make sure to check your junk or spam if you don't receive the email.

Step 4 - Enter the 6-digit code and click Continue.

Step 5 - Complete the form with some some basic information (ensure you enter the ACCOUNT HOLDER'S details) and click Continue to create your Account.

*If you receive an error saying "This email is already associated with an account", return to the Sign In screen, enter your email address, click Continue then use the "Forgot Password" option to reset the password that is linked to this email address.

You can now add/link participants (Member Profiles) to your Account, or be added for User Management access.

Managing your NRL Account

Once your NRL Account has been created, you can self-manage the profile and edit/update information:

Step 1 - Go to nrl.com and log in with your email and password.  You'll find the Log In button in the bottom left hand corner.  If you're already logged in, you'll see your initials and 'My Account'.

Once here, you can use the different side tabs:

  • My Account - your dashboard to your NRL Account.  You'll find links here to some of the menu options such as Edit Profile, Edit Favs and your Settings.
  • Edit Profile - update the details on your NRL Account.  *This is separate from your Member Profile that you use to register as a participant or enrol in a course.
  • Edit Favourites - edit your Favourite Teams
  • Communication Preferences - select your email preferences to receive updates across the NRL network.
  • Change Password
  • Change Email - to change the email address on your NRL Account, you'll need access to the current email first.  You'll be sent a verification email, then you will be able to update the email address.
  • Manage MFA - set up or change your Multi-Factor Authentication settings.
    • Phone Message - Users will receive a phone message with a verification code.
    • One-time Password - Provide a one-time password using Google Authenticator or similar.
