Team-based registrations is intended to streamline the workflow for team nominations and enhance the delivery of large carnivals and events. Unlike the "normal" rugby league registration flow, team-based registrations allow members to register directly to their team!
Some of the key benefits:
- Teams can register directly to your competition, and don't have to be linked to a club in MySideline, reducing the need for off-platform team registrations and manual team creation.
- Team Managers are automatically granted Team Admin access when registering their team.
- Players and Team Staff are automatically allocated to their Squad upon registration to their team.
- Approval of Pending registrations can be managed in MySideline Admin, however approval is NOT a requirement for members to be available in a Squad.
- Member availability is maintained - if a Member Profile is unavailable (e.g. due to concussion or tribunal), they will be unavailable to add to a match.
Important considerations:
Not all competitions are suitable for Team-based registrations
- Member Type - only suitable for player-types that do NOT require a clearance or permit (i.e. Player Social, School, Masters, Representative)
- Association enablement - at this stage, an association in MySideline CANNOT run both standard and team-based registration competitions
